The Glories of Jesus

Just finished a conference of all our churches and then getting ready to minister in another conference in the next state, I am seeing more and more clearly the need to focus on the glories of Jesus. We speak on the Name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus and we tend to forget or fail to see what is most important about these graces. Why are we called to use the Name or magnify the Blood of Jesus? It is not only because they are powerful instruments in our hands and can accomplish great things. It is also because we are called to see that Jesus is the source of all our victories. We are using the weapons that He has fashioned for us. We are basking in His victories. We are looking away from ourselves and seeing that Jesus has come to replace us, to become our life itself. We find it very humbling to lose ourselves into Jesus but isn't it great to be able to boast in the One who lets that glory be reflected through unworthy vessels like us whom He likens to His body, He being our head.
